In September 1969, Brother Al had a true spiritual awakening, he was transformed from death to life in Jesus Christ, when he accepted Christ Jesus as Savior then as Lord and Master, from this point on, Brother Al wanted nothing more than to be a servant and messenger in God’s service.
In 2008, My Father’s House Ministries was established, as a (Christian based) drug and alcohol recovery home in the High Desert, working directly with Court systems, corresponding with inmates in Jails, Federal and State Penitentiaries with prisoners who request counsel, literature, Bibles and Bible Studies.
For the past 48 years Pastor Al and Sister Carmel have been working with people who come broken and beaten down by this world. He says to us: “Through much fire and many trials, and tribulations, the Lord has been with us in the ministry of deliverance. Beginning with our own deliverance, our ministry is to offer hope to other families like ours who need the help and don’t know where to start.
The purpose of My Father’s House is to abide in a loving environment that provides support and direction, while presenting challenges that will teach, “order and life changing positive principles” to individuals who are ready for change. This experience is intended to liberate people from their old natural life, and relearn new ideals and habits, with the guidance of the Lord His Word and the Body of Christ as servants that serve as guides to help in one’s personal growth, and their recovery process.
